smoking because it releases fewer carcinogens and tar.
Before choosing a vape cartridge, it’s important to know the type of oil it contains whether it’s
flavored or not and what kind of cutting agents are used to dilute the solution. Vape cartridges
are loaded with cannabis distillate for optimum vaporization with the activation of the portable
battery. During distillation, all the flavors and aromatic compounds are removed from the
cannabis oil. To add some extra flavors, it is then mixed with terpenes and also glycol to give
special mouthfeel.
All cartridges contain cannabinoids, but necessarily terpenes. Raw cartridges are the vape
cartridges which do not have any added flavors and aroma; it only contains the pure cannabis
distillate.
Some vape cartridges contain the cutting agents similar to e-cigarettes to change the saturation
level of the vapor cloud and mouthfeel of the cartridge. Most commonly used cutting agents are
polyethylene glycol (PEG), vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG).
